Vincent Ott (b. Frankfurt, Germany, 1996) is an award winning composer and music producer specialising in working with orchestral textures.
Vincent completed a Bachelor and Master in Composition for Screen at the Royal College of Music London, graduating with a first class award in 2019. During his studies, Vincent was awarded the Cordwainers Scholarship (2015), the Ede & Ravenscroft Prize (2017), the Clifton Award (2018) and the Parnassus Award (2019) for outstanding performance.
Vincent has formed part of the music team for video games such as The Sims and The Ghost of Tsushima as well as series and films such as Leaving Neverland and Man In The Arena starring Tom Brady. He has composed music for several animated Dreamworks and Warner Brothers productions such as Scooby Doo and Guess Who, Spirit Riding Free as well as She-Ra and the Princess of Power. Vincent is also the composer of several Gameshow soundtracks like Catch 21, Master Minds and Get a Clue which are currently airing on the Gameshow Network nationwide across the US. In the past year, Vincent started writing music for German history documentaries. He has composed the score the Arte documentary Die Rote Fini and Sobibor, which aired on German and French television in 2023.
In 2019 Vincent was awarded ‘Best Original Score’ at the Feel The Reel International Film Festival for his orchestral soundtrack to the short film Polar Opposites and has won an ASCAP Screen Music Award in 2021 for his music written for the game show Master Minds.
Beyond his work for film & TV, Vincent’s portfolio extends into the world of songs. Vincent helped produce Tom Odell’s 2022 album Best Day Of My Life, and has written the string arrangements for his latest album Black Friday.
Currently, Vincent is creating new music with artists such as Willa Ford, BUZZ, EZI, Mericia, JNR Williams and Blessing Offor.
